Out of surgery on the road to recovery
So quick note ... Judah is out of surgery number 2. They were able to stop the extra bleeding from the stitches but they were not really sure what was causing it. Everything looks good so far. He is starting to get into the 8-16 hour period where his heart realizes what happened to it and get tired. This is to be expected. The 24-48 hours are critical for recovery if it makes it past those good then the rest of the recovery will be good. Thanks everyone.

ReplyDeleteThanks for keeping everyone updated. I have been so encouraged to read these and see how you are clinging to God in such a trying time and how he is carrying you through. We're praying and we love you guys.
ReplyDeleteI know you don't know me, but I am a good friend of Paulette and her kids who have for years called us Ma and Pa. Paulette has kept us informed about Judah's progress and I want you to know that we have been praying for him daily. God has His hands wrapped around your little boy, and He knows just what is needed. Don't loose faith in our loving Lord who loves Judah so very much. God Bless you all, Lana and Dan Buethe
ReplyDeleteWe're praying for your family. We know first hand the roller coaster you're on and our oldest was about Nehemiah's age when Lizzie was born at 26 weeks. We pray that Judah heals quickly and strongly and that your family remains in God's calming peace.
